The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to serve the Board and our members, increasing the economic vitality and the well-being of the business climate in Sheboygan County.
For over 100 years, we have been committed to opening channels of communication and creating a dynamic business network.
Our programs and resources educate and support our members, with the long-term goal of strengthening their businesses for robust economic development. The Sheboygan County Chamber’s reach extends beyond local borders, as we advocate for our members at local and state levels.
We represent over 800 members, many of whom operate internationally, making Sheboygan County a vibrant place to work, live, and play.
We recognize the importance of advocacy and it’s impact of legislation on the business climate. Because of this, we hold First Friday Forums and Roundtable discussions with local leaders and elected officials.
Workforce development efforts are extremely important in a growing economy. We frequently partner with job fair opportunities throughout the county, provide internship opportunities and much more!
Building strong relationships is vital to a strong business climate and facilitating conversations is essential to the success of our community.
The ability to provide affordable access and opportunity for professional development is a key benefit to our members. Our Focal Point seminars and Executive Series programming are all here to support our members.
The Sheboygan Association of Commerce was founded in 1914, starting with 400 members. We joined the U.S. Chamber of Commerce a year later, and have been growing strong ever since.
An early slogan said “Say It, Sheboygan Makes It” and a century later, we’re still known for our wide variety of products. From plumbing to cheese to automotive products to small craft brewers, Sheboygan County is home to an impressive level of industriousness and creativity. We are Better Together! Visit us and see why!
