What We Do

Government & Advocacy

The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce recognizes the importance of advocacy and education around the potential impact of legislation on the business climate. Our Business Advocacy Committee meets monthly to discuss opportunities to educate the members on these current events. The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce offers Friday Forums, Candidate Forums to learn more about those running for public office and hosts County Roundtable discussions with local leaders and our elected officials. In addition, we have put significant research and advocacy into such issues as Highway 23 and Non-Attainment.

Impact

Difference Makers

The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce recognizes the importance of advocacy and education around the potential impact of legislation on the business climate.

Hwy 23

Advocacy is one of the many ways we support our local community and businesses. Safe roads and expanded highways do not just make it safer for workers to travel to and from, but also supports our business/manufacturing sector to ensure they have the infrastructure needed to transport supplies and products into and out of our county.

Non Attainment

Breathing healthy air is important to all members of the community and understanding how our air quality is measured is extremely important as well. We advocate for fair air quality measurements to keep all Sheboyganites safe and businesses thriving in a responsible way.

Candidate Forum

Want to know who is running for office in your community? Our Candidate Forums give members an opportunity for real time conversations with candidates.

County Roundtable

To encourage collaboration and keep the lines of communication open. The Chamber hosts a quarterly round table with elected officials and community leaders to ensure we are aware of what is happening in our communities and how we can support each other.
