Governmental Affairs

The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce recognizes the importance of advocacy and education around the potential impact of legislation on the business climate. Our Governmental Affairs committee meets monthly to discuss opportunities to educate the members on these current events. The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce offers 9 First Friday Forums annually and hosts quarterly County Roundtable discussions with local leaders and our elected officials. In addition, we have put significant research and advocacy into such issues as Highway 23 and Non-Attainment and have begun facilitating listening sessions with members to better understand their needs and if/how we might be able to support initiatives that are important to them.
