Sheboygan County's 28 municipalities are served by nine public school districts each offering comprehensive K-12 education. Three City of Sheboygan schools have been awarded national "E" awards. The Sheboygan Area School District has been cited as a Gold Medal District by Expansion Management Magazine for two consecutive years.

Parochial
The City of Sheboygan has two parochial high schools, one parochial middle school and 10 parochial elementary schools. The Sheboygan County Chamber will provide a listing of these schools and contact information. In addition, Belgium, Oostburg, Plymouth, Random Lake and Sheboygan Falls offer parochial education in Grades K-8.

Private
Lake Country Academy is Sheboygan County's only secular 4K-8th grade private school. Our students learn using our unique Core Knowledge/Core Virtues curriculum coupled with Direct Instruction. Higher Education

Lakeland College: An independent, fully-accredited 4-year liberal arts college located near Howards Grove, associated with the United Church of Christ. On campus enrollment is approximately 800. Bachelors's Degrees can be earned in over 40 majors and there are extensive evening and Saturday morning class programs for working adults. Associate Degree credit accepted in transfer. Lakeshore Technical College: Learning choices are offered days, evenings and weekends and include one-year technical diploma programs. Two-year associate degree programs, ACCELerated associate degree programs for working adults, apprenticeship programs, training designed for business and industry, short-term technical certificates and advanced certificates, seminars, video courses and personal enrichment courses. 888-468-6582

University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan Accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. The university credits earned at the UW-Sheboygan are transferable to other UW campuses and to public universities and private colleges both in and outside of Wisconsin. Varsity and intramural sport opportunities are available and drama and music departments are acclaimed for their productions and concerts.
