Members Services (Ambassadors)

As the public relations arm of the Chamber, the Ambassadors promote Chamber functions, ribbon cuttings and grand openings. They are, in addition, involved with member recruitment and retention efforts. Meets the fourth Friday at 7:30am at the Chamber office. There are usually four or five function responsibilities a month.
Member Services Goals

Add value to Chamber membership by increasing involvement, understanding and perceptions relating to the Chamber.

Support efforts to retain current members while adding an additional 75 new Chamber members.

Host a spring and fall membership program for new and prospective members.

Inform new businesses of the benefits of chamber membership.

Support new members through the Adopt-a-Member program.

Sponsor Ribbon Cuttings for new and expanding businesses.

Attend and host the Chamber Business Connections and work to increase attendance at these events.

Encourage member participation in the Sheboygan County Leadership Institute offered by the Chamber.

Host annual Golf Outing and Winter Event as fundraiser events, with support for the scholarship from the golf outing.

Promote active and progressive Ambassador involvement through orientation and mentoring.
