The committee is comprised of a variety of committees providing the opportunity to assist in promoting Sheboygan and Sheboygan County's hospitality/recreation/tourism industry, including the Lodging and Winter Activities Committees.
Goals

Promote Sheboygan County as a destination for visitation and relocation.

Continue to produce and distribute a countywide Visitors Guide.

Maintain a calendar of major events for use on websites and in the Visitors Guide and supply events as needed for the TASC site calendar.

Encourage development of a visitors’ center and offer any resource services and input requested by the Chamber Relocation Committee.

Continually work to improve website to make it appealing to visitors.

Set up Sheboygan County tourism display at Wisconsin Information Centers and/or other locations where prospective tourists congregate.

Review other informational services to determine what might be incorporated into the mission of making the visitors’ information gathering, planning and actual visitation an effortless, seamless, enjoyable, experience.

Communicate the economic impact of tourism and the importance of “buy-in” from businesses and residents.
Action:
Develop committee to manage PR or at the least have representation on any PR committee the Chamber might establish.
Continue countywide tourism collaboration by participating with Tourism Alliance of Sheboygan County (TASC) partners.
Develop regional tourism and economic partnerships that are beneficial to the mission.
